Steve Jones is a qualified Financial Planner whose purpose is to help self-employed people, small business owners and everyday Australians achieve their financial goals. He has spent the last decade educating and assisting individuals, families and business owners on strategies that create financial abundance over time and how they can minimise their risks along the way.
He has completed a Bachelor of Social Science and has ASIC’s Legislative requirements to provide advice on insurance broking, risk management, managed Investments, superannuation & retirement planning, including self-managed superannuation and investment & taxation planning. He is currently completing a Masters in Financial Planning at Griffith University.
Steve’s objective is to provide cost-effective financial planning solutions that will ensure his clients have the financial freedom to retire in style.

Head of Operations & Client Services
Mark founded Rothnie Financial Security in 2005 and merged this business with Clear Financial Planning to create ClearFP in July, 2019 with the view of being able to increase the range of services to the two business’s clients. Due to the growth the business has experienced, and wanting to make sure that the excellent client experience that our clients have become accustomed to, Mark has moved into the role of Head of Operations and Client Services. In this role, his focus is on making sure our client service level meets their expectations. He will work in a mentoring role with Brendan and the Risk Insurance team and is always available if a client has any queries.
Rocky has a strong passion for the world of economics and finance; in particular, he aspires to help educate people to learn how they can grow and preserve their own finances. As an enthusiastic Financial Planner at Clear Financial Planning, he appreciates the opportunity to enlighten as many people as he can to become financially independent and live a stress-free life.
Rocky has an extensive background in customer service and has spent years studying and working in the field of finance, giving him the confidence to help clients make smart financial decisions – as they work towards a more secure financial future, alongside the other experienced advisers here at Clear Financial Planning. He joined the business in 2017 and has enjoyed working closely and assisting in the advice for medical professionals, families and small business owners.

Senior Risk Advisor
Brendan started with ClearFP in February having previously worked in the industry for several years as a risk focused paraplanner. Brendan works alongside Mark specialising in the risk arm of the business. He is passionate about making sure each client has the best fit for their individual circumstances. Like Mark he focuses on high quality cover, with a long term view on each clients needs. He is happy to run through the minutiae of the policies for clients that are interested, and always ensures you understand what the policy definitions mean in plain English.
In his free time he enjoys spending quality time with his family, and playing social basketball.
Janet Eklom-Jones has educated herself in the financial services industry to best support the previous roles she has been involved in Business/Client Support, Paraplanning and Financial Planning for small to large boutique financial services organisations.
In 2011, Janet took up the role of Client Manager with the main areas of responsibility being Business Management, Client Liaison, Investment/Strategy Research, and Compliance. Her qualifications include Graduate Certificate in Applied Finance, Diploma of Financial Services and Commissioner for Declarations.
Debbie has worked in the financial industry (Banking Sector/Financial Planning and Risk) in various roles for over 17 years. I joined our team in 2018 and works in the Risk Insurance side of the business with Mark.
